SORENTO

so-WREN-toe

Sorento appear to be a bit of a hodge podge of body parts. Their most striking feature may arguably be their hairless forelimbs. Sorento live in highly social groups of up to 40 individuals with horns appearing on both sexes and are used as a tool for sparring, settling disputes, and establishing rank within the group. Their diet consists of any meat sources they can kill or scavenge, and what they lack in size they make up for in group efforts in their abilities to take down any prey they choose while substituting their diets with occasional fruits and tubers in nearby marshes. Their southern scrubland home region is always changing and inhabitants are always on the move from one water source to the next. Sorento are no exception, and their armored prey has given Sorento exceptionally thick skin on their forelimbs. The markings on their upper legs are unique to each individual. Sorento tend to have an attitude, and in a showoff display, Sorento swish their tail plume over their lower backs, lift their head high, and stretch out their hind legs and flex their muscles until someone challenges them. Vocal, surprisingly affectionate and loyal to their friends and allies, and not to mention extremely hardy with a unique attitude, 80 lb Sorento make excellent companions.
