QURA

KOO-rah

Qura are inquisitive night-time creatures that like to poke about the inland forests for food and for fun. They aren't known for being predatory, but are opportunistic eaters and have a wide ranging palate. Though good at sprinting with quite the agility along the forest floor away from larger predators, they have a knack for tree-climbing as well. They spend much of the daytime sleeping with a mate or with family members up in trees, away from the kerfuffle of daytime traffic below. Qura are out and about actively alone and independent, yet during early morning hours they come back together with parents and siblings or mates and offspring to play and sleep, keeping bonds between them strong. Their territory is shared between the aforementioned family individuals, and can raise quite a ruckus when unfamiliar Qura appear on the horizon. Typically no more than 2 ft in height at the shoulder, Qura are excellent at solving problems and making the most out of bleak situations, in addition to strong social bonds with companions, making them very promising companions--so long as preferring to sleep through much of the day is welcomed.
