Scary

Blood-wolf94

I finally got to finish this. I started this on the 19th if last month and I started the colouring on the 22nd but I didn't have the colours to be able to do the background so I had to wait until yesterday.
I wanted to buy a load of blue copics for the background but the shop only had a few light blues (they still haven't restocked them and its been like over a year now) so i had to get some promarkers instead. I need some darker blues than what i used but they didn't have any (because they also haven't restocked those in ages too)

I tested the promarkers out seeing if i could blend them because ive never used them before and they blended ok on my little test sheet but when i started doing the background they didn't blend the same... so I messed up, I used 4 promarkers and 3 copics on the background and the copics helped blend somethings a little better, but those copics are completely dead now.

I didn't have the right colours for quite a few things and it really bugs me, his hair isn't right and his chest and ear are too orange but i need the shop to restock so i can get what i need, I think im the only one who buys the copics at that shop i get one very week (but not through school holidays or weeks off) Ive heard them say for months now that they are going to restock but they still haven't ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

When i started sketching i was just going to draw a simple little thing with no detail because i just wanted to use copics but it turned into this, and now i have to but a load of new copics because i killed them all.
I wish copics or just any pens never ran out i would'nt have this problem then

Yeah, it is annoying when things run out of ink.

This is actually good. I really admire the amount of detail you added to the muscular structure, even the veins. Sure it may be a little too exaggerated, but that's totally fine.
I also understand how it feels to run out of supplies. Even though most of my art is digital, when I'm in art school I always use pencils and copics. And sometimes when I have very limited colors, the end result ends up looking terrible in my opinion. But again, I like this drawing. I at least really admire the effort you put into it regardless of the circumstances.
