By 2007, The Leopard Sun had taken on its modern form, shedding all of the old TLK elements and other childishness, though the revised storyline was still in its infancy. The title likewise took on its first modern form, changing from Through Death & Love to Twilight & Shadow (which would go on to become the name of the series, rather than the this particular tale).
