I'll be taking the tour of our commissioned vessel tethered at pier 45 tomorrow, so I thought I'd make sure I knew how to get there. I can't risk keeping the captain waiting again [see report 002] so I hope an early bird approach will prevent her opinion of me from deteriorating further.

I have to say that I really do enjoy the environment around the customs house. Apart from being an impressive building on its own, the surrounding ruckus and unending flow of bodies really gives it a completely different energy from the rest of the city. A little disorienting at first, it didn't take long for me to find the controlled chaos intoxicating. I can't even understand most of the conversations that are going on, but i still find the exchanges fun. Keeping a smile on earns you extra points.

Usual precautions apply: No loose shiny objects, keep the wallet buried and walk fast. To expedite, a little extra coin goes a long way. Most of all, avoid pissing off the locals. That last one should go without saying, but you'd be surprised.
