I have jumped through all the necessary the hoops, wrapped myself in bureaucratic red tape, and scribbled my signature on any every possible surface they requested of me. You’d be surprised how much the insurance alone cost. I guess they really take this whole ‘travelling to the end of the world’ very seriously.

With the mountain range of papers now behind me, I was able to turn my attention to finally commissioning a ship and crew. I had 3 enquiries to my ad in the paper: One never got back to me, the second laughed at me over the phone, but the last one did agree to sitting down at a biscuit shop near the docks.
