For as long as I can remember, it's been a tradition among the many players of the Napping Cat's Dream to meet in person every year at Anime Central in Chicago. The con was initially chosen because of Chicago's mostly-centralized location in the U.S. and because most Dreamers seem to like anime to some degree. But the main reason we all go is to see each other and hang out for a few days in person. Guess the internets just aren't crazy enough. ;)

Anyway, it has also been a tradition for the MZDM staff to organize a forum-wide commission for a T-Shirt bearing original art from one of the forum's artists. Those who want their chibi-fied avatar on the shirt pay a portion of the commission fee, and can then purchase the shirt itself from Cafepress. This was the picture created for 2007's gathering, and much thanks go out to Oni for putting so many faces in so small a place. Guess which one's me? :D

The idea behind the image is there's a party in Chicago, and everyone's invited! Somebody, though, would rather be a moody stick in the mud instead of joining in the festivities. Well Krinele and PF will have none of that! A few water balloons to the noggin should shake some sociability into that boy! Arc doesn't seem to be all that pleased with Krin's shenanigans (hence the label of "Nay-sayer of Mischief,") but he doesn't seem all that interested in stopping it, either. Besides, Xaila's distracting him with doe-eyes. Works every time. ;)
