Going through some of my older files, I've stumbled across some of my poetry and stories from years past that I'm still very fond of. It's reminded me that in the process of focusing so much on my artwork, I've nearly forgotten to tend to my love of writing as well, and I figured it wouldn't hurt to share some of my work, despite being far from perfect.

This poem is from a creative writing course I took as part of my English degree some years ago. Out of all my old poems, I think I'm the most attached to this one for some of the imagery that came with it, particularly in part III. I might yet paint a picture to go with this~
