Miredon typically lurks in the shadows of the swamp he lives in for unsuspecting prey as opposed to direct confrontations. Once a potential meal is spotted, he'll silently follow it until he deems the time is right, then he'll pounce and swallow them whole and alive. Once he's nice and full, he'll slink off to his lair to digest his catch.

Miredon can speak, but not very well. He has very limited magic capabilities and is a fairly decent swimmer. Despite his elastic throat and stomach, as well as his ability to unhinge his jaws, Miredon can't swallow prey larger than himself - it's already hard enough to get prey his own size down, especially if they're still wiggling!
