And so the World Tournament Finals commenced, with the International Cup winner Scandinavia facing off against North American Cup winner United States.

The first period with a quick lead by the surprise of the tournament in Finnish Superleaguer Jussi Saukko, who in the opening minutes was able to beat Hallertau, and put Scandinavia up one to nil. Play continued to be fairly evenly paced as the period continued but neither side was able to change the score as time ended for the period.

In the second, Scandinavia put on the afterburners, and started piling the shots, to which they lead the period 14-8. Thoes shots lead to two goals by Antero Ansiskorpi and Bjorn Grafelder, and giving the team a 3-0 lead entering the third.

In the Third, the United States attempted to respond, firing 16 shoots at Scandinavian Goalie Halfred Sunderson but the Swede stood tall, and blocked the all, leading to a Shutout for him as the buzzer wailed, and a with an addition score by Ty Sandstrom, a 4 to Nothing win for Scandinavia, clinching them the World Tournament Cup!
