The headhunters are a plucky duo of mercenaries, who while incredibly dangerous, don't appear to be that bright. Sure, they're famed for bringing back the heads of those they've been dispatched against, but also consider that the pair of them are being paid top dollar to participate in a children's game yearly, and you get a clearer picture.

Either way, Xan runs afoul of the two of them, and they swear revenge upon him at all costs. Just like the She-Wolf in Season 1, you'll be seeing a lot of these guys, usually at awkward times.
