I never noticed that Cinder has freckles! What a great touch to his character design. This entire page is great. The close-up in the first panel of him waking up, and then the super detailed shot of the frost markings on his arm! snafdh.

Something tells me Cinder's experience happened in the same spot... That aside, like folks have said, the detail in his frost pattern is amazingly beautiful.

Oh dear lord, what on earth could be their history! Sheesh, this comic keeps me wanting more and more with each page!

The softening of Cinder's character has been handled very well, I think. It's hard to track the somewhat cliche "sympathy for the bully" arc without seeming predictable, but I really like how Cinder is becoming more vulnerable and sad as Frost hardens.

Cinder's "stigmata" would certainly make for a badass full sleeve tattoo!
