An experiment in limited color palettes. Originally I had not planned to color in the background, but considering she is in a darkened room, it set the mood and the lighting better than a field of flat blue. I'll tell ya, inking on paper with a texture like this is actually rather fun.

A character of mine that I used to draw all the time in Middle and High school but now draw next to never. Her name is Cleo, and her backstory has gone through several iterations. I'll be making her a profile on here as well when I have the energy to do so.

This is a scene in the ongoing setting of mine. I'll let the viewers work out their own scenarios, however. ;)

Cleo and the Demellian race happen to be mine. Done with Prismacolor colored pencils (for once), Staedtler pigment liners and chalk pastels on blue paper. No references used this time.
