Decided to post a handful of progress shots of a piece I started over a week ago that I'm still working on.

What you see here is the very first sketch, more or less finished and almost ready for the first tracing stage. Since it was a very involved picture with a lot of references used I nitpicked plenty of course erased a lot, which you can kind of see here and there on the scan. I always use sub-par copier paper for this first stage because of this. After I finish this sketch it allows me time to look over it and correct errors I may see. I also sometimes refer back to this sketch later to make sure certain small details that may get lost in translation from sketch to transfer to final paper.

Next stage: Trace and transfer sketch to tracing paper.
