Karina is a harsh, standoffish warrior from Kerlynzia, the mysterious country on the southeast corner of the B'yada continent (Verse, Derrik and Kiryl also hail from here.) Being part of the extended royal family, Karina grew up in the Imperial Palace, and from a young age, took an interest in joining the Imperial Knights like her father before her.

At a young age, her family relocated to Celestion due to her mother's work with the church of Elia. This broke Karina's heart, as she saw her dreams of being a Kerlynzian Imperial Knight crushed. Still, her father dilligently trained her as if she were a knight herself, and by the time she was in her teens, she'd already begun her journey down the path to joining the Celestionese military. Being of the 'upper crust' in Kerlynzia means she's rather prissy, despite her skills in both stealth and combat. That isn't to say she dislikes getting her hands dirty. She relishes at the opportunity.

Karina has a gentle side, as this version of her theme tries to show, but that gentle side is equivalent to a brick in the face. She's an incredibly blunt person, to say the least.
