Diana had still not noticed her left foot was not a cervine hoof nor that her right foot had begun to follow suit. Ethan had felt nothing in his paw which became fur covered with claws at the end of each digit. She held up the stone and shrugged. "I'll admit, I'm not totally sure how it works, but I think it... Uh Oh."

Alarmed, Ethan became aware of the sudden changes to his body. "Diana?! W-What have you done?!"

"I- I don't know, I didn't trigger it!" She had not known exactly how it functioned but she had been told the stone would make anyone it touched a blending of species. The instructions were blurred as was the disclaimer but she had experience in magic, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out, should it? As a snake tail emerged from her body and she found her canine features rapidly losing ground she struggled to resist the spell which only seemed to make it progress faster as she and her lover began to assume new forms...
