featuring my undead unicorn Ashusk. this character means a lot to me. I enjoy drawing him a lot it's very meditative and relaxing for me.
in my head canon he is basically a undead being, although a magical one. he sometimes collects different kinds of seed which then continue to grow and bloom in his ribcage. he absorbs the live energy of the plants afterwards to stop the decomposing of his own body.
so this scene is basically a refuelling of his life energy. he is merely resting, not necessarily by choice, that's what you get for growing your mane out! :)

How has this not had any comments? I'd like to be the first to say this is some very beautiful work. The majestic morbidness of the undead unicorn, surrounded by the tranquillity of the scene? Brilliant! Then to top it off a great little segment of back story? all things I can appreciate coming together to make a very pleasing visual submission. The water is stunning.
