Among the newer recordings that I've made recently is a return to an old favorite, entitled "Reminiscence." This song appeared on my 2009 album, Only Natural (which may be purchased via Bandcamp). The original concept of the song belongs to the late Dante Bucci, who was a fantastic hang drum player, and who invited me to record a flute part to go along with the song after seeing a video I'd posted to YouTube of myself playing along with one of his.

Dante is featured in this song on the hang drum the same as on my CD, though unlike on my CD, this version also includes his friends on accompanying percussion and bass guitar (my album version is just hang and flute). This has been one of my favorite songs to play for years now, and I wish I had gotten the chance to perform it live with Dante before he unexpectedly passed away in 2014. As it is, the title is fitting, as I often use this song to reminisce about my early years of starting out as a musician.
