Family: Monstridae
Genus: Monstrum
Species: Jubacalvariam M.
Certain variations in skull shape have begun to appear in Dreameaters, the cause of the change is unknown but the variants have been cropping up with to varying degrees.

The most common skull variant still remains the one that most resembles that of an horse. For eons of development, this was the only skull seen on Dreameaters. While it did show subtle variance between individuals the definitive horse like shape was always present.

The next most common variant has been deemed the cat skull. Much like the horse skull, the shape only vaguely resembles that of an actual feline. It is significantly shorter and has developed sharper incisors. The change in dentition could be equated to the rising aggression and hostility that has been growing in the species for generations. They do however seem to be missing the premolar in this variance, perhaps due to the lack of space on the skull.

The final variant has only been recorded on a few individuals, and statistics are not final with now enough grounds to work from. These skulls do however seem to be more narrow than the horse variant and also posses the same pointed incisors as the cat variant. On a whole, they are nearly as different from the standard as the cat skulls seem to be.

Other variants in skulls seem to be cropping up, however not with enough variance to be classified as a completely different type.
