I also noticed you are moving from FA to here, did it have anything to do with the current issues with FA?

Yah, that was partially it, but I had been absent from FA for a while and resurrecting my account was bleh. Also, the few people I knew that were still active were also moving over here. So ultimately I figured a new start might be good. Are you moving because of the current issues?

For the most part, I want to make a point that I am tired of dealing with the broken promises that have been made the constant screw ups that the staff never seem to learn from, and the fact we are being treated as some sleazy porn site by the new IMVU owners.
But I too have seen that people are starting to move, I am hoping this will make a solid point that the site has lost its too big to fail status because there used to be no other good sites to go to, we have choices and while some are less desirable then others the only issue with this site that I have heard of is that it is more complicated to navigate, but I don't find that to be the case at all, its just different.

I really do hope that the amount of people moving makes a point, but I don't know if it will be enough. It probably needs to be more than a 50% drop in user activity for them to care /: I don't have any idea of how many are leaving, but I have noticed that a lot of the users I have encountered so far are new from FA.
Honestly the only problems I have encountered with the site have been finding where to type up journals and how to set up commissions, but I have figured both out fairly quickly. I hope weasyl stays good and improves as it develops! fingers crossed

Yeah, some of my watched list is indeed planning on staying seen about 2-3 journals stating it, I did bring up my points about site security and staff hypocrisy regarding their ToS to irl porn links, and the past history of Dragoneer as being blindsided by money, but it seems it didn't matter to them they give Dragoneer the trust he has not earned and are willing to put trust into them all regardless of the history they have shown, so there is no reasoning with them and I wish them good luck.
I have not encountered any so far, though I admit I have not messed with a lot of the site features yet, but am fairly good at figuring things out on my own, though I am not afraid to ask for help should I need to.

I have been quite surprised by how little some on FA seem to care /: I wonder what it would take to change their minds? Or if some just couldn't be bothered no matter what? I know 2 people I follow on FA instead of moving, have just decided to quite all together which is sad :(
I think I've decided that weasyl is definitely a step up as far as design goes, the character feature thing on here is super cool! And I like that you can reply to shouts :D

Yeah some people just don't learn, its fairly clear to me and many others that IMVU does not actually care about the community we have all built and the staff seem to not care about what is actually included in the updates, assuming they have the foresight to actually see what goes into said updates and ads, they just simply are lazy in that case putting the updates that IMVU requests without actually talking to them about possible concerns, like malware or viruses that could expose the community to very serious security risks that extend even to other sites.
It honestly would not surprise me since we do not actually know what was stated in the contract that Dragoneer is obviously keeping under wraps either because he can't disclose, or because he knows he screwed everyone over again.
Indeed the replies makes it more open to communication as it is easier and less work to reply to a shout, the character feature is also super neat allowing you to keep your gallery less cluttered by random character refs, also making it easier for people to look your character up fro gift art or because they like your character.
