It is a character from the play ‘An Inspector Calls’. It is quite a famous play, written by J.B. Priestley in the mid 1940s, dealing with social hierarchies and society. I didn’t mean to confuse you by quoting from it, so sorry for that… I just really like some of the quotes from the play :)
