I haven't posted anything in a while. So, how about a update on where I've been?

About six weeks ago I started a new job at a flooring company doing some technical staff related to supply chain management. Determining material costs for installations is actually more fun than it sounds. The office is about a 15 minute drive from home and I get along with the coworkers pretty well. Also, being one of three people in the company under 45 years old and being familiar with computers has made me the tech support guy. (Yay)

In other news, the holidays are coming up. I'm looking forward to spending some time with extended family and friends. There's an annual event down in Detroit on New Years Eve that I will probably be attending. The event is usually pretty fun and always makes the local news. (State wide news channels are still considered "local", right?). If that doesn't pan out, then it should be no problem finding something else to do.

For anyone who has been wondering where I am online, let me just say that I'm sorry. I know that it has been harder than normal to reach me these last few months. Some of the livestreams that I used to regularly frequent have gone inactive. Others have seen a change in content. It's clear that I'm not part of the target audience for these streams anymore. (I can only watch so many "Let's drink and play video games" streams before it gets repetitive.). I can still be found here on Weasyl though. I typically check for messages at least once every 48 hours. If you need to reach me for something, this is the place to do it.

One last thing, for anyone who might be interested. I will NOT be publishing a Christmas wish list this year. There are two reasons for this. The first is that I'm not totally comfortable giving my home address out to people that I haven't met in person. (It's a personal qwerk.). The second reason is that I plan on getting a new computer shortly after New Years. I haven't quite settled on the configuration for the machine I'm going to buy, so most digital gifts would be off the table. I'm sure most everyone reading this won't care, but for the one or two that might, I'm sorry.
