Today was the 5th anniversary of the airing of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. In celebration, I held a party and a viewing of several fan made animations (piecing together a story that stretched over a thousand years, starting with the Fall of the Crystal Empire, then the Rise and Banishment of Nightmare Moon. Tales of the glory of Everfree as it became just a legend during the dark ages of Equestria, and leading up to the return of Nightmare Moon in Episode 1), then the Pilot (Episode 1 and 2), Episode 100 (Because, “AWESOME!”, and Episode 118 (The most amazing current episode). Followed by lots of Brony music.

While not as many NARFA Furs showed up as I would have liked, a bunch of new Furs, and Bronies did. Along with our resident Horse Fur (Nick), and our personal Alicorn (Roz). Everyone seemed to be really into the entertainment, and the evening. We had celebratory Champagne, and MLP Cupcakes! All this brought me much joy, and pleased me greatly. It was a similar feeling I got at this past MFM while hanging with my Herd.

The worries and stresses of the world fell away, and only THIS moment mattered. Only THIS moment I was alive. I felt that bond of “Commonality” with others. It made me feel warm and at peace...

It was a GREAT Party!

So, here's to the Ponies, to the CMC, and to our Goddesses Luna, and Celestia! Finally, here is to Lauren Faust, the writers, the actors, and the artists that have brought them all to us! [Salute]
