Wow. That was down to the wire, but it all mostly worked out!

I finally got Artie to take pictures with my new sock based paws and they were fantastic the last I saw them. I could kiss YOUR paws, my man. They turned out beautifully.

Matrices did a last minute patch to my 3D eye's masking ring that worked out for the con and made my eyes presentable with some solid backing to the ring around it. I only just completed aesthetic fixes in top of that with eyelash trimming scissors. I had to head to Jo Ann Fabrics by TAXI 15 minutes to closing time Thursday just so that the fix could be done Friday.

I debuted Jack Marcoonis, my fictional character's outfit during the Fursuit parade. Only real difference was the cargo pants and boots.

Fursuit Games was the first real test of my GoPro muzzle mount. It worked for the first half, but by the time the 2nd came around the camera slipped off as I was taking off the head and I had to re-position it, and it was too low facing. Next time, I'm using that dummy battery hooked up to a high capacity battery so that I can use WiFi and record 1080p60 at the same time. I was limited to 720p60 because I only had 2 batteries.

Got GoPro selfies with sairyswolf, maxbunny, maxcoyote and dan_raccoon. I have one of Artie but it's blurry because low light. Note to self, shoot 1080p60 video in low light to get good selfies.

And I don't care about the drama that came up. I enjoyed the con, like any con goer should. Don't let things bring down your mood for the con just cause you fixate on it and then it turns into a con-wide rumor.

Final things to do on the head:

1. Wig and padding needs to be shifted down to cover more forehead.

2. Remove 1cm of extra material at the top of the mask fur encasing the eyes.

3. Open up the iris 1mm on all sides, making the diameter of the iris go from 30mm to 32mm. (we'll try to do this with a CNC machine)

4. Add more fur to the front of the head in the chest area to prevent it from twisting out of T-shirt holes (this happened a lot at RF)

After that, Jack Raccoon will be V1.0. It is currently V0.99
