Am I still a mixed media artist? by Zaezar

I noticed that the majority of the artwork that I have been posting (or at least, that I have spent a large amount of time on) has been digital. Yet I still consider myself a mixed media artist. Mostly because of all my experience with markers and other traditional media. But all the things recently that I have enjoyed making have been strictly digital. Rarely do I even sketch out a thing beforehand.

Then again, all the stuff that I am super proud of have normally been traditional, like the fake album cover for TQBF or the set of inking things.

I also spend 90% of my time in class doing traditional work. Its just that none of you see that stuff unless its for a large project :P

Yeah. I think I am still mixed media. Its just that you are mostly seeing the digital side of that mixed media!

So how are all of you doing?

Am I still a mixed media artist?

Pretty soggy hereabouts...though not as bad as Texas. I wish we could ship some of that rain to Florida! lol

I've been staring at my set of specialized drawing pens lately and I want to draw something with them, but I have no idea what or how or anything. XD

It just rained about an inch in an hour today. Then it stopped completely XD
We really need to figure out how to ship the rain out!

      Psst, Teenager tees fanart...
Just kidding, I hope you make something soon, though! Maybe the pokemon starters or something?

My friend in Texas says it feels like forever since she saw sunshine! :o

That could be fun! I want to do something where I can use all the different tip sizes. Since I usually ink in a fine (.5) or medium (.8) tip pen! Faber-Castell made a set that has an extra fine (.005) and several different kinds of brushes. :)
