It's sad to think that some folks are starved of companionship. I live with family and may be alone as far as intimacy goes, but I have a mate online who moved recently, along with many contacts both very old and fairly new.

It's important not to let the coldness of these times blind us to the needs of others. This brief post is on par with wishing a traveler well, though I wish there was a tangible weight to it.
