Indiegogo Project - Historical Reenactment by Domnul Eduard

Hello! To all who may have a passion for history as well as the benevolence to take a look through what I have written here:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/a-bus-for-us-travel-in-time#home

As some of you may know, I am part of a Historical Reenactment Association entitled Terra Dacica Aeterna (http://terradacica.ro/?lang=en) which focuses on reenacting the Dacian and Roman cultures during and shortly after the Trajan Wars periods.

After some certain circumstances, we drastically require the purchase of our own, personal bus so that we may reach our events, throughout the country, and throughout Europe.
Our goal is to revive the wondrous cultural treasure that is ancient history, and bring people closer to them. We reenact battles, culture, traditions, and everything we do, from the equipment to way of life presented during events is 100% authentic.

Having this personal bus means that we can go to as many events as possible, likely, to events near your home, and bring the beauties of ancient rome, ancient history to you.
If you ever wanted to see how Rome, and its army was like, without the Hollywood bullcrap, then Terra Dacica Aeterna is what you seek.

That being said, I would want to kindly ask you, to take a look over our indiegogo funding page here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/a-bus-for-us-travel-in-time#home
And share it, share it like the plague in a clustered medieval town!
No really, share it! c:
And if... you would find yourself desirous of manifesting monetary benevolence, there are some really beautiful perks there!

Thank you all!

Hmm.. I am not sure if I can contribute that much, but I will at least make sure to share this on my Facebook. :P It sounds like a cool and interesting idea though, so good luck with your quest!

Your compassion is most appreciated! Thank you very much, Naresie!

How are you today, by the way?

      • Link

        You are most welcome.

Whew, well.. a bit tired to be honest, it has been a bit of a bumpy rollercoaster today internally and emotionally, but I manage, so I am mostly trying to take care of myself at the moment. I tried to draw, but that was nearly impossible, haha. Thank you for asking anyway, I am quite happy though I will be getting a visit from one of my friends tomorrow. And how are you then?

Whenever you are feeling down, Naresie, always remember these words of mine: "No matter how dark the tunnel you may find yourself in is, at it's end, there is always light!"

I hope your visit from that friend of yours will proceed gloriously and you will have nothing but fun and joy!
Other than that, I've been... magnificent, as always ))))))
Seriously now, Easter Holiday is here, so I am relaxing, focusing on personal projects, and spending time with my family.

Oh, thank you so much, I am so glad to hear such kind and supportive words from you! ^_^ I'll make sure to have fun with my friend too, haha.

And I agree about the easter holiday's too, feels like everyone I know got a good break and I got to spend more time with them, since I myself don't have and things I need to do or places I need to be anyway. So, nice to hear you are having a well deserved break too.

Though, the fun part is... that I celebrate most of the Christian holidays two times a year, especially Easter. Half of my family is Catholic, and the other one is Orthodox, and since the great schism, they put all Christian holidays on different dates in an antagonizing manner.
But we are a happy, tight family so in order for everyone to be happy, we do all the holidays twice (And many other families around here do so)... that means I get twice the holiday, twice the slack, twice the delicious food, lamb chops, pork, sarmale, etc, twice the travels, and twice everything, especially twice the presents))))

Oh.. O_o That sounds very weird.. I myself would probably not be able to handle it since most religious.. pressure makes me go nuts, but it does sound very neat to celebrate holidays so much, although a bit hectic. As long as you are happy with it, that is awesome.

I'm unfortunately in no position to help anyone, but I do wish you luck on your project!

No problem, my friend. It is the thought that counts and I thank you for it!

I'm going to see if I can manage to throw some quid into the pot, although it will probably be a very modest sum since we're trying to keep the belts tight to save up for major upcoming expenses soon. I'll signal boost where I can. Also out of curiosity might you have a Tumblr post regarding this? Because I can also reblog that for extra exposure.

Best of luck in raising the funds you need!

There is no such thing as modesty when we witness the manifestation of the virtue of compassion! Truly, your benevolence is most appreciated!
Rest assured, this shall not go unnoticed and favours are repaid, one day or another, like the gentleman I am.

And, I am afraid I do not possess a tumblr account. I was once curious about experimenting with it but I only heard negative things about tumblr so I gave up.

      Thank you again!

Since I think historical reenactment is not only a worthy pastime but is highly educational, I felt it was only fair that I try to help even the slightest bit.

Haha, it's alright I think for the most part you heard right: Tumblr is one of those "social echo chambers" that while it has a lot of positive things going for it, has a toxic undercurrent in more than a few circles.
