Whoops, yes, I know this was yesterday! I just wound up away from the computer for half the day and forgot to post. I actually wasn't planning to post about the day here, but I forgot just how many trans folks there are in this community!
Anyway, yeah! I transitioned 4-5 years ago (social transition 5 years ago, medical 4 years this summer.) It made a huge difference in my life and allowing me to feel comfortable being seen and being out in the world! I predominantly use he/him pronouns in day to day life but am not opposed to they. I identify as... nonbinary, I guess? Male-ish but not super so or in a traditional way? Something like that!
I also identify as queer and demi-sexual. I guess that's all I can think of to say just now! You're welcome to ask questions, if you like!
I haven't read up on the term much, but I like non-binary as a term for the same reason I like the word queer; it has an in-built ambiguity that leaves me room for movement, as it were. It's not a fixed point, and I guess I don't necessarily feel like a super fixed point, either? Whether that means some fluidity or simply finding something so nebulous as personal gender difficult to internally determine, I'm not sure. So embracing a non-specific term is a way for me to embrace being okay with not having things super precisely pinned. That's how I've come to feel the last couple years, anyway!
I was about to suggest looking into demiboy/dude/male too, but looks like my boyfriend beat me to the punch haha
And yeah, wow, Weasyl seems to have a great number of trans artists! It's so awesome to see <3
Ha! Yeah, it seems like a good term for people to have! I do see it now and again.
And yeah, I've been surprised by how many folks I see on here, it's really cool! Though I think Weasyl does itself a favor in that regard by letting people fill in gender as a blank form. That alone shows thoughtfulness, which I appreciate and value.
Yeah, it's fluid enough for me to explain how I feel about being a man, but also allowing me to account for the days I feel agender. But obviously you're in control of your own labels, however they may suit you! :)
Even on Tumblr, so many of the artists I follow turned out to be trans and I had no idea. It's great!
Glad to see a fellow non-binary artist on here. I participate in the local communities as much as I can(I run a couple of support groups). It's a wonderful thing when you feel more aligned with who you truly are. :)
Hey, awesome! And yeah, it's almost easy to forget how it has changed my daily life. It's great to see people being more comfortable now about being open-- not that I think anyone is obligated to disclose if they don't want to! But I think it is a good sign of decreased hostility, and the more people can see other trans people functioning in a happy capacity, the less afraid folks earlier in their path will be about exploring and figuring things out.

Have you looked into demimale as a possibility?
