Well today is the day I fly out to TX (16th - 22nd)... and to be frankly honest I'm so thrilled to be escaping the Bostonian winter this year... I REALLY need the vacation from the non stop snow since mid January... It certainly makes me understand why people suffer with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) when winter is so utterly opprssive >.<

But onto bigger and better things... (cause everything is BIGGER in TX of course :P ). So I'll be planning for the first leg of my trip to be focused on spending time with family, especially since my niece will be visiting during the time I'll be around... so that is a big major thing for me to be looking forward to. My grandmother who's been dealing with some health issues as of late is being gracious enough to loan me the use of her vehicle while I'll be in town so that is nice to not have to worry about a rental vehicle while in my home turf.

I'm certainly looking forward to spending time on the 19th with my twin brother Khyle and trying to also work out plans to spend time with good friends at TFF during the 2nd leg at the end of my trip. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing good friends at the con, which will be the rare social convention for me... but Ralkor will be coming down Friday evening so that's something for me to be looking forward to in any event.

If folks are interested I am still planning on trying to get a group together to check out the Magic Time Machine on Saturday Feb. 21st. I'll post about it again closer to the con.
