This isn't targeted at anyone specific, just something I need to get off my chest.

I went and checked FA earlier today and looked at the journals people had posted. I must admit to a feeling of disappointment after reading some of them. The idea of Singles Awareness Day is not particularly new or something that is bothersome on its own. The way people have taken this idea as an excuse to bemoan their relationship status and attempt to use the idea as a platform to tear down Valentines Day is what bothers me. I honestly read through and saw more "Everything is Awful and Valentines Day Sucks" journals than I care to admit. It's at the point where I see more of these negative journals than positive ones. I'm disappointed that people would rather be angry at the world than just leave a perfectly good holiday well enough alone.

    I have seen nothing on FA all day! I guess I'm following a very different crowd.

    Its still a stupid idea, to want to tear down Valentines day. But I'm happy knowing that a few people complaining on a website won't change anything lol.

    Have you had a good day today, might I ask? All I have done is sit on my computer and watched Youtube videos...

      Yeah, Ive gotta believe that it's the crowd. Glad to hear things have been going well for you today. Things are going pretty well here too. I spent most of the day working on some personal projects and errands.

    Since I have been avoiding FA since February 1st...I'm glad to know I've avoided such things. I've had a rough time with the idea of Valentine's Day this year (personal things), so I felt it best to be away from FA for awhile in February because I knew almost everything posted would probably revolve around Valentine's Day or something for some time. I'm sorry to hear that it's pretty bad over there...I watch a lot of people so I'm sure journals sitting in my inbox are similar things to what you have seen today.
