If I can't draw, what can I do? by Kompy

So yeah, I've thought about the suggestions you guys gave me, as well as those offered by friends and family alike. They're all good art ideas and maybe down the line I'll look into them and I do thank you all for trying...

...but right now I'm just kind of frustrated with life too much to draw, at least for others. Heck, even drawing for myself has been taxing, since whenever I try to I feel frustrated that I'm "wasting time" instead of finishing up owed artwork. The fact that my saved funds on Paypal are drying up and my computer keeps being more and more problematic each day PLUS RL worries like wanting to get a job and move to the States yet being unable to at this point in time means that...well it means that I'm at a point in time where I wonder if drawing as a profession is even the right path for me.

But that's just it, I don't know what else to do.

I could write for a bit, I guess, but I'm no writer, I doubt anyone would care. Wouldn't even know what to write, anyway.

And nothing else is really calling to me as stuff I can do and/or stuff I can do that can also be of monetary value someday.

Bluh. Here's to hoping it's a passing phase and nothing more. It stinks feeling like this.

Maybe try your hand at sculpey/clay figures or another physical media that lets you do character/creature work without putting a pen to paper? If you don't have a lot of funds, you can still do some cool stuff with playdoh. It can help with getting poses down later on (having something you can poke at and rotate). I know the feeling though - I've had some of the worst art slumps lately, mostly because nothing feels "good" enough.

Don't think I can edit my last message, but - If you get good at sculpting (or even felting or something), I'm pretty sure that can be lucrative.

;n; aww, I think we all have those periods where we just can't art. I just got over one of those but I have a massive amount of health problems that making arting difficult frequently. Hopefully it passes on its own hugs I don't know, the mind is a strange thing so perhaps you just have to wait for a muse to pop up.
