Hi! I'm Kit. You can call me Kit, Farore, or kittybot. I'm a lot of things: transgender/transmasculine/genderqueer (masculine agender to be specific; pronouns are he/him/his/himself or it/it/its/itself. I've also been thinking occasionally about trying out a new set of pronouns: bo/bot/bots/botself or dre/droid/droids/droidself. If you don't like so-called nounself pronouns, though, feel free to ignore that part), demisexual, panromantic, polyamorous, a feminist, an activist, progressive/liberal, a Dominant (who occasionally switches for the right person), stone, kinky, queer, a freelance artist, a music lover, occasionally a coder (I'm just starting out), bipolar (II, to be specific), a trauma survivor, anxious, a casual existentialist, a furry, a technophile/robot-type-person, and generally open-minded, receptive and caring (or at least, I try to be). If you have questions about any of that stuff (particularly if they aren't covered in the FAQ), feel free to ask!

I live with CassioBunny and am partnered to hailbop, who lives a few states away. My other housemates are: ikani, visky, AuroraTelthas, nyghtwulf, and Kes. I live in the Bay Area of California, USA. I am 28, and can occasionally be low on patience with younger people, though this is something I try to make sure doesn't cloud my view of mature and interesting younger folks. Generally I am open to talking with just about anyone, and try my best to be kind and thoughtful.

I'm pretty busy between work, partners, and life in general, so while I love to meet new people, I don't always have the time or presence of mind to be the first to approach someone. I'll happily make an effort for people I like, but sometimes I can't manage. However, if you're willing to do the approaching, I'm more than open to new folks to talk to!

Regarding my mental illness, I am medicated and in therapy. I do my best to be an advocate for psycho- and neuroatypical rights and resources. I have a lot of friends who also live with MI and/or neurodivergency and always do my best to be understanding and supportive. I'm not super-strict about language usage but I try, for myself, to avoid ableist words and thought modalities.

I have socially transitioned, regarding being transgender, but have not yet begun to legally or medically transition. I hope to start that this year or in 2016. Again, I try to be an advocate for transgender rights and to police my language and thoughts as best I can to be as welcoming as possible. I don't tolerate slurs of any nature, particularly transphobic or gendered ones.

I am DFAB and try to use my experience as having been raised a girl and a woman, as well as the lived experiences of others who are willing to share, to lay a foundation for my feminism. I'm also anti-racism, anti-classism, anti-ableism and anti-bigotry in general.

Do you do commissions?
Yep!

Do you do trades?
Occasionally, but it's typically more of an I'll-ask-you thing.

Do you do requests?
Very rarely, and never at random. I'll ask for refs/suggestions/etc if I am, please don't come to me and expect one.

Do you do collaborations?
I love collaborations! I prefer to collaborate with someone near my skill range, but there's no harm in asking :)

Can I use your art?
Typically no. Most of my art is commissions, so you'd have to ask me and the commissioner for permission. My personal stuff, absolutely not, unless it explicitly says so on the upload.

Can I repost your art?
Yes, as long as credit is given and you don't claim any characters that aren't yours as such, etc.

Can I use your art as a character reference/faceclaim/etc?
No. You are welcome to commission me if you want art of your own to use as reference etc.

Can I add you on Skype?
By all means! My Skype is on my profile.

Do you go to cons?
Yep, FurtherConfusion, Midwest Furfest, and Biggest Little Furry Con.

Do you fursuit?
Yes! I have a fursuit of my caiman character Charcoal from Takumori, and I am working on getting one of Farore.

What the heck is masculine agender?
It means my gender identity is agender, but my gender presentation is masculine, and that I generally lean more masculine than feminine (which is to say, I don't typically lean feminine at all).

What do you use to do your art?
Manga Studio 5 and a dash of Photoshop CS5, with a Wacom IntuosPro tablet. Traditional media is done with whatever I can find lying around, typically Copic markers, various inking pens, Bristol board or paper, watercolor, acrylic, colored pencils, gel pens, and mechanical pencils.

Do you accept gift art?
Yes! Please ask before drawing any sexual subject matter, however.

Can I trace or copy your art?
Sure, as long as you give credit. Please don't redraw commissioners' characters without their permission. NOTE: THIS IS FOR MY ART ONLY. Many people are not comfortable with tracing or copying so please don't take this as blanket permission!

Do you roleplay?
Only with partners and very, very close friends. Please don't ask for or expect this. Definitely do NOT attempt it on my submissions or in my streams.

If your name is Farore does that mean you're a Legend of Zelda fan?
Yes, but that's not where I got the name. I had never played a LoZ game when I first chose the name - I got it off a list of names online.

Are you an SJW?
Sorta. I wouldn't call it that - I just call myself an activist and advocate. If you're someone who hates SJWs or uses the term derisively, though, we probably won't get along. :P
