I am stuck with a really bad cold, house-sitting with a neurotic collie with a shitty laptop that will not let me work on art no matter how many times I re-install tablet drivers and/or programs. So I have some free time.
What have you been up to? Plans for holidays? Hate the holidays? Seen any cute dogs lately? I want to know!

I milked cows today! And hung out with my dog! He's pretty cute, he has a scruffy mustache. c:

Yay! Scruffy mustache dogs will forever always be my favorite dogs. And that is really cool! I have never milked a cow but I love to pet them. Are they yours ?

Awesome! I'm afraid not, though I'm hoping to get some of my own some day~ c: Milking them is part of my job, though I like spending a lot of time petting them and discovering each of their personalities. I figure getting to know them as much as I can makes working with them run more smoothly, plus it's super fun. c:

I'm sketching around for a few ideas that I like enough to do as mini-paintings, to do a few originals for fun. It's taking me a while to find something, but getting there!

Sorry 'bout the cold. When you're not feeling well nothing seem to work out. Thankfully colds only last 10 days.

I'll be honest and say I'm a bit exhausted and burnt out, but I'm unwinding and the rest of my day I'm going to make efforts to not work as hard and relax. Listening to some beautiful Nutcracker on my computer and eating some homemade pumpkin bread. I personally love the holidays, although my mode of celebration is decidedly more pagan than the rest of my family. What are some of your favorite comfort foods or baked goods of the season? I'm going to be making something else and some ideas would help me narrow my list down, hah. No doggies or kitties anymore, I'm afraid.
Sorry to hear you're dealing with a cold, especially during this time of year. If you're suffering a sore throat, warm cider with a dollop of honey can work wonders!

Pumpkin and gingerbread are my flavors of choice. And peppermint, but that's sometimes pretty hard to bake into things I suppose.
I am pagan(ish? idk depends on who you ask) and that sounds pretty fun, hopefully it will help you relax .And that sounds lovely, I will definitely try.

I've been looking at Dobermans, but I have an adorable dachshund at home :p I know the tablet driver woes - my computer freaks out on the drivers about once a month and I have to reinstall.

I don't even know what the deal is, the driver is there. I think the laptop might just be too old for PS anymore. There's like a 10 second lag and it keeps losing pen pressure. WHO KNOWS. I 'll be home in two days so I can pick things up again.
Both good breeds :). How old is your dachshund?

My dachshund is 8, I believe. He still acts like a puppy though (and kind of smells like one too ) - so that is fun. I hope your tablet stuff is better now! (I know this reply is really tardy.)

I guess you could try pen and paper, even if it's a little old fashioned. Few driver issues though.
