Recommend a free website host for artists? by Mazz

Currently I host my website on Webs: http://tornfeathers.webs.com/
It's nice but it's expanded as much as I can for a free version and I don't really like the galleries set up too much.

What free hosts do you guys use? What do you like about it? What do you dislike about it?

As of right now I can't afford to pay for a host, so I need one with a free option with no adds or with minimal adds (not google or spyware throwing adds, I refuse to use sites that use those).

    Right now, I'm using Weebly for my store: http://quack-a-roo.weebly.com/
    I've used Webs before, and honestly Weebly is a huge step up! ^^

    And best part is that not only are there no ads, you can actually put your own on it and generate revenue that way! ^^

    When I need a free place to host my stuff I do it on my own server here at the house. If its for a project that is beyond the staging level (as in, needs to be live) than I will do so using wordpress.com. Only condition you must obey if you use wordpress.com is in regards to adult content.

    One host service I wouldnt recommend (unless as a last resort) is Wix. Its the most bloated flash crap you could use to display your website.

    Weebly is nice , i use WIX for mine though i pay for it now lol
