For a summary of what we've found, thanks to information from Hasky:
A pastebin between a person named Hasky and Zidonuke, where they are talking about Zidonuke's adminship, linked in the Reddit article. What we take away from this conversation is:
-Nasky got close to Dragoneer (and his finances) as a member of Project Phoenix in October. By the way, Nasky is YET ANOTHER grey-hat hacker that the community was not told about. Zidonuke was not the first, and you better bet your balls he won't be the last.
-Nasky finds a way to inject malware into FurAffinity by exploiting submission seeds. Malware! To infect -your computer.- When he confronted Dragoneer and Zidonuke about this, they nodded and looked over the code and came up with a nice wa-ahaha just kidding, they actually told him to shut up about it. It remains unfixed to this day.

Someone was hacking the site right in front of the sysadmin and he did nothing about it. And neither did Dragoneer. When he was told about how the hacks worked, he deleted all posts about it in the forum and ignored it. Did he tell you this before you all donated? Absolutely not. Anyone who remembers the hilarious antics of FurAffinity user Eevee back in the day will remember that this was not the first time FurAffinity has ignored bugs in the past and was nearly demolished because of it.

I know, I can't believe I just read that either. Adding what we know thus far: Zidonuke's past, the fact that Hasky was allowed to blatantly hack the site right in front of him, and the fact that the bugs revealed because of that were not only ignored but still persist to this day, means I personally believe what is written here, and that you and your friends need to get off of FurAffinity -right now.- Now. After you ask for your donations back, of course.
Another interesting tidbit, although I wouldn't call this "news":

[8:06:42 PM] Illuminasky: Zaush does NOT EVEN code, he's only there because he's friends with Dragoneer.
We also have it confirmed that Dragoneer is in -serious- debt at the moment. We will not go into detail because it's a little personal to him and his family, but public records (PUBLICLY AVAILABLE RECORDS, DRAGONEER, SINCE I KNOW YOU'RE READING THIS) are showing that they are in dire financial straits as of June of this year. Could this have something to do with the fact that all of your donation money has gone missing? We cannot say. However, the evidence speaks very strongly, and on his 9th day of silence on this matter, Dragoneer does not. Remember, while all of this was brewing behind the scenes, people were donating and being told nothing. This was money not only gained for false reasons, but under false pretenses. Months later, we still are not seeing a single receipt or picture of new hardware.

Stealing money from false donations is bad enough. Discovering a threat to internet personal security is also bad as well. Having one leading to another, it just got worse and yet may lead to another worse thing or may even bring revelations of a past bad thing.
I can't believe how I managed to shrug off things in the past.

Dragoneer needs more money for his fetish commissions, and he wants the rest of FA to fund them.

That's always been the case, that's nothing new and people have long suspected that some of the donation funds have been funnelled into his pocket for artwork. This, on the other hand, goes a bit beyond the pale.

It goes farther than that, trust me. What we found out about his parent's current money situation is more than enough to raise eyebrows on its own.

To be honest, I don't think that the finances of other people should even come into running FA. If it's discovered that Dragoneer is siphoning funds off to keep his pockets lined (or, to line his parents' pockets) I'm going to cave his face in.

Wow. If Zido's plan was to kill fA all along (and by "take out Dragoneer and reverse engineer our selves into FurAffinity" I guess that means they'd steal fA from Dragoneer?), I wonder why he revealed himself to you and spilled the beans on Jake? Did he decide on a whim to backstab Dragoneer and resign once people started figuring out who he was? So much for them being friends.

Zidonuke and Dragoneer work "literally ten feet from each other," by Zidonukes word, so it might not have gone over so well if he staged a takeover.

But god damn Neer , What are you doing to your life and your site. The least you can do is hand it off to someone even for a little bit to let them fix it. Maybe not a known sex offender or hacker. It doesn't take much to know that it's time to saddle up and take the blame and attempt to fix the problem. The issue is he's so hell bent on people hating him and not trusting him , because we don't . That he doesn't realize that it's his fault that we don't trust him. He's done so much wrong it's hard to see why people still ass kiss him everyday. In fact it's annoying seeing people do it , it angers me that a site witch I came to enjoy the people on , worship someone who doesn't know left from right. UGHHHHH I wish more people on FA would be this angry, to leave to show Neer that he really fucked up this time. One can only hope linking these journals and supplying the truth will help the blind followers see. Thank you again for digging up all this shit !-

Unfortunately, if I were to be honest with you, I feel the same way. The last couple days have shown me how little the average furry really does care about this. It's sickening. It makes me almost ashamed to count myself as part of the same fandom, if the majority paints us as such apathetic easy fucking targets.

And one more thing, just so you know. If one were to create a relationships webs of everyone involved in this scam, the single thread that solidly connects them all is sex. Nothing but sex has enabled all of this to happen.

Good Lord. The final straw for me on FA was the whole Zausch thing, but this... It's turned into a sideshow now. xD What even is going on over there anymore?!

Heads up, this is rumor at this point but apparently someone is in talks with a lawyer but their having issues finding all the relevant (legally usable and valuable) information in order to generate a legal argument/case. Apparently, even though FA is Dragoneers baby, other people still use it as a place of busness and because money goes through the site, it can have legal boundaries that could be validated and used to show he is not suited for site admin and placing other peoples lively hoods, their means of work, in danger.

I was thinking exactly about this.
The donations themselves might have a lot of legal implications.
If the community press charges against the misuse of funds, lack of transparency, threatening the safety of people's personal data, etc... there is the possibility that court could make him hand over fA. Or at least get fined and have to refund all that money...That really depends on where fA is hosted and what kind of laws it has to abide...

Alot of that depends on how much information can be gathered and organized in a neat fashion that a lawyer could go over and understand what the issues are with information to back up those claims.

Everyone talks about the inevitable hack/note leak as if they don't want it. I on the other hand thinks this SHOULD happen. As sadistic as this may sounds, this would be a good thing, the people of FA need to suffer a major hack to realize how bad the site really is for them. It would be better for FA users and, the fandom as a whole.
On an unrelated but interesting note, I've noticed a fascinating phenomenon about furry drama, regardless of how big any situation or controversy is, it always seem to have the same length of time (roughly one week) My first theory as to why, was that a typical active thread on lulz.net will last about a week before it can no longer be bumped. But that can't be true since some of the biggest shitstorms on that board take two (or in this case) three threads. Despite the fact that this is the biggest controversy with Dragoneer that I have ever seen, the "one week rule" seems to hold.
After about nine days since the hacker was announced, he was now supposedly quit, FA went through some "maintenance", and the comments in the update journal almost completely stopped. Everyone keeps talking about how big a deal this is, but despite their treatment of this situation as some sort of apocalyptic event, one week went buy and this drama truck has run out of gas.
Don't believe me? Just wait until Dragoneers next announcement or the next artist that's exposed as a thief or sex offender. Pay very careful attention to how long it goes on before people stop caring. In light of this information, we might find a solution to the furaffinity problem: If we can make FA/dragoneer related drama last more than a week (let's say two) then maybe MAYBE we could change FA for the better.
My question is, does anyone have any other theories as to why drama that should get more attention have such a short lifespan?

There are so many fallacies in this post I don't even know where to start. Its clear to me you haven't been reading or paying attention to anything. People are not forgetting and they are not slowing down. Please show me proof.

I'm sensing hostility here, I don't want us to be enemies. One thing I find rather annoying is the "It's so obvious that I'm right but I'm not going to explain why" response. If my assertions are full of fallacies, why are you so hesitant to point them out? I am not afraid of criticism, and my commenting here shows I value your opinion so you don't have to hold back on pointing out any flaws in my statement. And as a matter of fact, I anticipated this (now almost dead) drama and have been paying attention very closely, especially your comments on FA, twitter ect. because you are a very big player in this whole situation (I also read several of your journals here). Anyway, disagreement aside, here is what I noticed:
- There were a total of three threads on lulz.net reguarding this current drama, I've posted there enough to know that a typical active thread lasts about one week before it can no longer be bumped to the front page. This drama in particular was so huge that it spawned 3 threads (a new one gets created when the old one won't bump). It is now on the third thread and it's obvious from how much the comments slowed down that there will not be a fourth. Here are the three threads:

Starykitten/Zidonuke was announced as coder/admin on the 13th, and (supposedly) quit on the 21st
I don't want to butt heads with you, I guess we can say we are both on the same "side" (although truthfully, I am pretty impartial as to what will happen) No one will forget what is happening, but that doesn't mean they won't stop caring, you may not be willing to throw in the towel and let this drama die, but it seems everyone else is. I applaud you for doing the right thing when it needs to be done but sadly from what I've seen, there aren't enough people on FA like you to take this activism to any fruition. Good luck anyway, I certainly hope you can prove me wrong.
