Posting frustration.. by Sidian
So I was all set to sit down and start uploading art here, catching up from the last piece I posted here. But then I realized I can't really do it without FA, because all of the info relating to each piece (character name, commissioner's name, etc) is on FA. So I still have to wait for the DDOS stuff to be over before I can post here. Unless I just post the images now with minimal info and then go back later and edit the titles/info? What shall I do! D:

I would wait, If you use chrome, there is an extension called Weasyl Waxpost, and you go to your FA post, and click the icon in the URL it will open a new tab and pull the file, the title, the description, and the tags for you, making the move a lot easier and faster. All you need to do is enter the 3 Weasyl specific things and done

You can do it either way, but if you don't want to wait until the moon falls from the sky, I'd say post and edit later :p

from what i'm reading on twitter, you might just want to go ahead and post, I don't think FA is going to be back up any time soon at all. 'Neer is apparently taking donations to move FA onto the cloud or something like that.

You could just upload the images and then come back later and update the descriptions. Would be a little bit extra work, but also might be a little less because then you could do a side-by-side more easily (as the images were already uploaded).

I'd go the editing route, it usually isn't that difficult.
