I'm getting my first apartment and im having trouble with furniture. We can't find anything nice within a budget.
This wouldnt be a problem except ha h a ha I have a shitty head thing where I'll focus on the ugly furniture so much that I'll just be upset 24/7
I'm already getting a smaller apartment than I'm comfortable with. When we walked in I felt like I was being suffocated......
if I was making any money myself I'd be fine and able to get better things most likely but for now I guess I'm just stuck ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;>;;;

Good luck. Furniture is hard :c I was lucky that I have a pretty awesome network of acquaintances and friends and was able to get most furniture for little to nothing when I moved... a lot qualify as ugly but luckily enough coming from poverty I've lost complete interest in things that look pretty. As long as it does the job I'm satisfied at this point x-x this is still an upgrade above what I'm used to dealing with!

i think my issue w/ the furniture is that they keep asking ME to find stuff and ME to pick it out and what I prefer, and I can't really find anything less quality that I feel comfortable with. I keep saying if they want cheaper shit just to buy it without me, because I cant change what I LIKE?? like dudes come on
