Wanna make some cash? by Jespah

Okay so here is the thing. I'm like head over heals for Shin Kuroi from Morenatsu, right? I highly doubt there is one, but if there IS a manga or a graphic novel based on the Shin Kuroi route (detailed, even if half the dialogue is ripped from the game) I will pay to whomever finds this novel/manga a 50 dollar finders fee. I'm not even fuckin kidding @_@ I know its frivolous spending, but I get loan disbursements from my schooling and at the moments its expendable income. For this subject I have no problem throwing away 50 bucks. However, I doubt there is a manga/novel based off of this.

SO. I have come to the conclusion that I will also pay a finders fee to whomever finds me a banging artists that will MAKE one for me. The characters of Morenatsu are considered public domain and fan work is encouraged by the team and its members. So if someone knows of an artists that can replicate the style in which these characters are drawn, I would pay anything I need to in order to obtain it.

I will only pay money to anyone once the project is finished, however. That way I don't get anyone sending me bogus links and demanding money, or hooking me up with some hack that's out to scam me. I'm so fucking serious about this! But.... really, I hope I can find a translated manga.

STAY UP PLAYA!! =D

I've never played it, and perhaps you'd want someone who could more accurately portray his emotion after going through it, but I wouldn't mind doing something like this. I draw short comics all the time for people, and I could easily adopt the style of the game into it. I am actually in the process of changing my border style to be more comic-like anyway, rather than just flat border lines. As for the payment, I prefer to get paid after the work is done, it gives me the motivation. $29 per page, just to get that out of the way. :P

    So...yeah. waves Hi. :3

Hi! I'm glad someone replied to this. I honestly did not think anyone would. Here's the thing. I am willing to drop a R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S amount of money on this project. Because... I can. And because it is something I love. 29 a page is no problem. However, I would want any artist to be devoted for whatever his reasons be it money, love of the craft, you name it, i don't care. I can send you the game because its free to play. I would ask that the artist (you, or anyone else) dedicat some time to playing it. It's not long, but very beautiful. I feel like anyone with half a heart could find something in it to make it worth their time. Afterward, I would ask that the artist take some time to practice so that they can accurately recreate the style. Because of this, as you can tell, I am willing to compensate so heavily. I decided on a rough cap of (i'm not kidding you) $1000. Obviously I am willing to go lower!! xD But.. truthfully, I am willing to go high. So please, if you take on this project, do so knowing you are in it for the long haul. I would like to preview practice work and such but you may watermark all fuckin over it if you like, I'm no oout to steal art, I just want to know I'm getting my money's worth. This may be a one time venture for me. I cannot pay for it if its not perfect. I'm sorry if that seems demanding, but you must understand that my wallet is greatly at steak =)

I looked at your gallery, and you seem to have some great line work. Though I did not browse extensively. It looks like it is worth a shot. So if you are still interested, let me know, and we can discuss further in notes.

It sounds perfect! I understand the trepidation of this kind of thing. ^-^ I would be much more comfortable having played it, so that I can get a feel for the character(s); so send me a link to the game, and I'll play through Shin Kuroi's route (and probably a couple of others as well :P). Assuming it is translated anyway. It would give me some good views of different angles of his face, too, which is never a bad thing.

I'd definitely take time to practise, especially with the amount of time this could be for. Shin looks like he'd be fun to draw in all sorts of poses anyway. Then I'd send you my scribbles and things so you can see if you like them enough for this to go ahead.

I am still very much interested! Fling a note at me, and we'll say more things. X3
