So tablet has been working with the same amount of reliability as trusting your cat to babysit a hamster.

Recently, I had the idea to see if the drivers I indeed have were, indeed, the latest ones. Turns out they were not. I installed the new drivers, rebooted the computer, it worked like a dream. The doodle I did just last night was the result of that.

Today, though? "Tablet is not running", a far-too-familiar vision at this point. Half the reason I got my old tablet replaced, even!

So I did the fixing. It worked for a while. Now though? Not as much.

For a low-down of what's going on, this is what I sent to text support. For the record, my tablet is an Intuos Pen and Touch Medium.

Tablet has recently been acting erratically as of late, cursor hopping erratically here and there and only occasionally deciding to function correctly, though the minute it's stops getting used for too long, it goes back to its erratic state. Touch control also seems to not function at all now.

Have updated drivers, it worked for one day before turning laptop off. When laptop is turned back on again, it will often claim that the tablet's driver is not running, forcing me to erase my User Preferences and reinstall my backup (I tried making a new backup to see if that was the issue, but that did not look to change anything). Tablet has been known to show issues regardless if said preferences have been fixed or not.

Rebooting and unplugging/plugging back the tablet from its USB port changes nothing, nor does changing it to another USB help.

I am at a loss for ideas of what to do now short of having it replaced. Anything you guys can do to help?

For all I know, once I reboot this computer it'll go back to working for a while longer, though I am starting to lose hope little by little. Getting a new tablet is an option, though not one I can honestly do right away for reasons that should be obvious (hint: 1. Need a new lappy anyway and 2.$$$).

...did I mention I just came back from collecting my toga for my graduation today? Was a nice day! Went to mall, watched a movie, ate, all that good stuff!
