    Toasty.
Besides the (not-so-obscure) Mortal Kombat Reference, I do like them crispy around the edges more so than gooey and caramelized. But I've no idea how to make them dry enough to crisp right.

Hmmm if I understood right, you might want to leave it like semi close to the fire but not directly on the flame for a bit and then toast c: it'll dry it out enough for you to toast how you want or should anyway!

I'm more of a melty lava person since I like it being able to melt the chocolate underneath ;u; its like a big melty smush haha

golden, melty, but still a little solid

Lightly golden all around, a bit gooey in the middle. If it gets burnt or catches on fire, I won't eat it. Tastes like charcoal. xvx

I usually just light them on fire and let it go out on its own and just eat them like that haha..

Considering I once got a second degree burn from toasting marshmallows, I tend to avoid them and anything doing with them.

It happened as a scout at camp. Another scout tossed what he thought was an empty paper bag into the fire. I quickly tried to retrieve it with a stick 'cause it had the partial bag of marshmallows in it. By the time I tried to rescue it, the paper bag had burned, the inner marshmallow bag had melted and I had this flying gob of combined marshmallows flip into the air to land smack on the palm of my left hand. Not fun.

I love my marshmallows evenly browned on all sides, but not blackened! Gives 'em a nice barely crunchy crust that is just the best. #w#
