Now for some announcements!

First, I'm going to try to finish off some of the stories series I've been leaving hanging. It's been bothering me I've not finished either of them yet. However, I'll probably also be doing more one-off stories because from looking at the viewing numbers people lose interest in reading them after a while (and I tend to lose interest in writing hugely long story series). I'll probably be interspersing.

Second, I'm thinking of doing an experiment where I get people to vote on what happens at certain junctions of the story. However, I don't get a lot of comments on my stories, and I don't know whether it's because people are like me and will look at/read something but not have anything to say, or some other reason. I don't want to waste too much time, so, if you'd be interested in seeing this kind of thing let me know. I'll probably write the first part and add in a message about it then as well, since I know not everyone reads every journal.

I'm kind of interested in what people who read will want to see vs what I'd be inclined to write. I'd also be interested in running this separately on both FA and SoFurry just to see if there's any difference in the audiences between the two. (I'd do it here as well, but I don't have quite the audience here as I do on the other two sites. I will try to do something special for here if I do that, or let you vote on which one you want to vote in or something if I do it.)

Alternatively, I might try occasionally offering some kind of "Your Species Here" stories where I post a journal about the kind of story I intend to write and people can suggest something for me to turn the protagonist into, or what they want the protagonist to look like or act like. It won't be for money, since I can't promise when it'll be done, and you'll have to trust me to come up with a good story since I kind of like writing things my creepy-ass way which I kind of get might be weird. But if you're interested in certain species that I don't do very often then this might be good?

If you prefer this idea over the other one then let me know. They're just sort of loose ideas at the moment, and I'll probably have to come up with some proper rules. I would kind of like to hear more about what people who follow me want to see more of, but I also don't want to go all-in on story requests since there's a lot of story ideas that might well be good, but not fit with my style of telling a story.
