Hi! How has everyone been doing?
I'm going to try to get my gallery here gradually caught up, I haven't bothered to come here in about a month so there's a bit of a backlog on DA. Unfortunately, DA has been acting up lately so I feel like it might be a good idea to get this account up and moving again just in case.
It's so quiet here though... I feel like a bad day on DA feedback-wise (pageviews, faves, comments, new watchers, etc.) beats a great WEEK here any time. Which is a shame, the weird thumbnail system and iffy folders system aside, I really do like this site! I just feel sort of ignored is all.
Anyways, enough of my ranting, what's on your mind? What's been happening lately? Leave a comment, ask a question, whatever you'd like.
Anyone interested in art trades? I might be willing to take a couple trades, those are always fun!
And just a reminder, be sure to watch me on DA too, since I still spend the majority of my time there.

Oh wow, that is sorta spooky. (Also, are you on DA? If you are you should totally link me to your account if you are active there.)
Don't mind me, I just rant sometimes. Good advice, really. I guess a lot of my expectations have to do with how many friends and acquaintances and active watchers I have on DA vs. over here. I've also been there nearly three years, while I've only been here for 5 (and active for three).
My attempts to meet new people tend to go poorly since I have social anxieties and it makes me awkward... I kinda use art as an icebreaker so it's a tad frustrating sometimes.Thanks for taking the time to comment. Means a lot to me.

I'm no longer active on DA unfortunately.
I know what you mean about social anxiety and using art to work around it. It's not ideal, but it can be better than nothing.

I've found that using art to meet people has worked in the past. It worked great in high school, although that probably has more to do with people and their compulsion to stare over an artist's shoulder as they work rather than what they are drawing. I was terrible back then, but it still worked!

Spooky. Not an hour before you posted this, I wondered what you'd been up to, and checked your DA gallery...
DA (and FA) can raise your expectations of how many people should see your work. There are many fewer users here, but I think they're more engaged. Think of the individuals, not the numbers :)
