Sooo I am not dead. I know it's been a while since any notable communication from me, so here's all the goings on in my life atm.

Car stuff: Earlier this year the weather was really shitty and I accidentally rear ended another vehicle. No one was hurt and it was minor damage.
I got the car fixed up, much to the chagrin of my poor wallet. In the meantime I ended up getting a rental car for a few days. They asked what my preference was, to which I intelligently responded "I'd like a small car please"

They gave me a dodge charger. seriously.
I got to drive around in a damn nice sports car for a few days. That was sweet.

So car is back, she's looking pretty, and I'm happy I just had to pay the deductible.

School: Just...too much school. wow. such study. many tired.
I'm seriously so sick of grading. I have one course that's got 70 students and the prof wants all quizzes graded within a damn week. ugh.
Otherwise classes are fun.

Mystery Man!: I thought Valentine's weekend was just going to be me sitting and plugging away at this damn grading, but Saturday morning someone rings the bell. I have just gotten up, consider cleaning my apartment, and went to see who's lost and needs directions (that's the only reason someone rings my bell) when lo and behold it's Mystery Man here for the weekend!
Good damn weekend. We got sushi, hung out with the department watched movies. Just what I needed.

Bitch Lady Downstairs: One annoying ass thing that's been happening is the Lady Downstairs. She doesn't like it when my cat runs across the floor because she can hear it. If my cat sprints across the floor she comes upstairs to complain, even if it's the middle of the day. I dunno what she expects but it's getting old.
Unfortunately for her bitchy ass, I'm not doing anything wrong, and I've been working with the leasing office to make harassment complaints now.

She even did it when Mystery Man was here, going so far as to say nasty shit as she's walking away (bitch). So I had a lovely witness, and now I'm waiting on word back from the leasing office over it. So that's been fun.

Moving!: I like my apartment (despite bitch lady) but living alone sucks and it's hard to keep with how busy I am these days. So I am planning on moving in with 5 other people from my department. Yeah we're basically making a philosophy grad student house.

So i've been trying to coordinate move in dates, and figuring out how to get all my shit from point A to point B again :\

Unfortunately all this shit costs money too :(
This probably means I won't get to go to Anthrocon, a heartbreaking prospect, but being an adult is hard.

I'll probably open up commission deals in order to get the security deposit on the new place, since the damn car wiped out my cash, so look forward to that this weekend.
