Down for the count- delay by Iko

Today while talking with my roommate I leaned over and felt a sharp pain. I feel like I've pulled something in my neck that has made it near impossible for me to move. It's kept me from any work, games, work-out, movement all day and confined to laying in bed. I've tried stretching, cold-hot method, heated and pressured water, and meds to no avail. I'm hoping that in the morning I will no longer be in pain and to my usual self but as a warning I may be set back a few days ;n; I'm sorry guys and I will try to get better as soon as possible!

My niece has sharp pain like that on her neck from time to time.
*If you've already tried this method, sorry, must have misread D: *
Her remedy is to get a towel and wet it in hot water(as hot as you can stand it) and lay it on the back of yer neck for a few hours(laying or sitting, take yer pick). Keep reheating with hot water as needed.

Sorry that you are in pain. I hope you feel better~

I had that once. It took a few days to be able to properly articulate my neck without pain. Very annoying and painful.

sounds like a traped nerve or a pulled muscle. Not fun. I get those kinda things a lot with repetitive motion and fatigue with the work i do. stretching is good, but very slowly, and make sure you do not hurt while doing it, stop when it does. hugging is the best way for anything trapped in the shoulder, by that i mean the stretch of curling your arms out and around a barrel like object (or a person!) and in doing so you gently work those areas.

standing/sitting upright and holding your hands in front of you and rolling your shoulders (again, gently and no not continue if it hurts) in a backwards, circular motion.

hope it gets better, and sometimes its just rest that helps. ;c

You take it easy and get better, and don't take any shortcuts. I'm sure Daigo wouldn't want you to push yourself, and the rest of us certainly don't either! Get well soon.
