So, I have been playing this indie game called Risk of Rain, and it is extremely addicting. it is a platformer action rogue-lite with an emphasis on frantic action, DotA styled skill sets with different classes, and the idea that time equals difficulty. For a game that is created by two people over a couple of years it is quite impressive how well-balanced and refreshingly challenging the game is. It is also surprising how well net play works with it. I'd have expected that the lag across the ocean would be horrible, but I just had a session with a friend of mine, and we made it to the end with very little complaints about lag.

  So does anyone else have/play this game? Anyone interested in playing with me if I announced a journal about it? I also have two spare copies of the game that I have no idea who to give to, I could hold a short contest where the prizes would be those copies of the game. What do you guys think?
