I've been considering developing more characters just so I can write stories about a murderball team because right now I have no characters qualified to play it. I don't play any sport but when it comes to sports I just like murderball is definitely one of my top favourite ones. Look it up. :D

I can talk about Cop Story for ages - anything you want to know about it right now?

Also I have a lot of mixed feelings about that Robocop remake because the trailer really annoyed me but someone I know says it's precisely the kind of film I'd like because it deals with the complications of being a cyborg much more than the original one.

How are your projects getting along?

OH MURDERBALL seems interesting yes. You should do it! Developing characters is pretty fun.

I STARTED READING COP STORY and I have it bookmarked somewhere on my computer but yes tell me about the plot and the main characters and everything.

It is bad that I haven't watched the original I hear the title a lot but I've never watched/even looked up anything about Robocop at all hm.
As for my own project... so far it's a lot of writing and completely replotting things to the point where the only similarity is the actual characters within the story but I think I'm getting close to somewhere with a few of them. <: Multiple projects means i'm going slowly through all of them but it's p fun to do.

Aw yeah, few things make me as happy as people reading Cop Story. I have to warn you, there's not much to read currently (one thing that bugs me about comics is that stuff that takes weeks to draw can be read in less than half an hour and people are still reluctant to do it) and I probably won't update the site for at least a month looking at the state of things. I really should be more... I dunno, motivated and less depressed and distracted.

But anyway, technically the main characters are Scott Nutter and Edmund "Chance" Chauncey, they are British cops, the rest might be spoilers depending on where you are in the story. But there's a lot of other important characters, there are no redshirts and nearly every character appearing in the comic has their own story which will eventually be told.

I like to pretend the plot is basically a buddy cop show but it's more complicated than that. Thematically the story revolves around cops (and criminals), plus a psychiatric hospital for "mentally disordered offenders" (which is actually the modern term despite most writers sticking to "criminally insane" because they think it sounds cooler or something) and a school for kids with disabilities (those two arcs start much further in the story but I've been drawing those characters a lot lately so it's not exactly a secret).

I just hope that I will be able to work on this story for a long time because there's a lot of moments I want to show and tell and I draw slower than I'd like to.

Also the reason the story is so complicated is because before that I was trying to work on 3 projects at once and it was a complete failure so I understood that I needed to stuff whatever I find interesting in one big project so I won't get tired of it (my charahub account still has a folder called Re: Crimes but it's actually a part of Cop Story now, I just need to rearrange things). I have an old project about scientists working in Canada that I can't fit in Cop Story (mostly for geographical reasons) and I miss it a lot but it's so old that it basically requires complete rewriting and I just don't have enough time.

I'm not saying you won't be able to work on multiple projects by the way, these things differ for everyone. Anything else you'd like to know? C:

Yeah, I can't wait to get my own webcomic out - the work you gotta put into it is immense.
They all seem like interesting characters! I think I've caught up on it but I haven't checked recently so who knows. And good luck with getting stuff done, I know how you feel there. It's pretty hard to work at a good pace when your mood is up and down.
Complicated stories are the best kind ok.

Ahah, yeah, multiple projects are pretty hard! Though my tactic is to focus on one and then once I get some sort of block I skip off to a different one. Which usually works, I'm dreading the day I get writing block on all of them. And I'm not sure what else I'd want to know, i'm pretty bad at asking questions like that aha.

Hah, it's alright! :) And yeah, if you were reading it on smackjeeves then there's nothing new, I haven't updated that in ages and will draw a couple of shorts before I start updating it again.

It sucks that I had to make such a huge break but it's harder doing short comics when you have a longer episode in progress so I'm trying to draw everything I can't resist drawing before I get back to the main storyline. I really miss Chance though and a bunch of characters that haven't been in the comic before will appear in episode 2 so I want to get back to it as soon as possible. I just have this OCD kind of thing where I figure out an order in which I am going to do things and then it's very hard for me to rearrange it.

Taking breaks from things can help with getting through things you want, ye. Though I can't wait to see where it goes when you do get back to it! I need to get back into my webcomic dealio.
