This time it was my belly dance mentor, good friend, and neighbor. I feel just awful that she lived right up the street, and I didn't even know she was sick! She gave me so much, and always had a beautiful smile and was always there to believe in me, even when I didn't believe in myself. She taught me about the beauty I had inside AND out, and oh my god- I can't believe that I just let her slip away without having talked to her since summer. I am an awful friend.
