Yes, it happened, for the enjoyment of some of you. by Torreny

What's my name?
JJW Luscher, and that's far enough for you (unless we make introduction, my good man/lady).

How tall might I be?
6'0"

And my natural hair colour?
Ash blonde.

What's my eye colour?
Blue.

What is my sexual orientation?
Demisexual, it seems. I used to say "pan-romantic, asexual".

My relationship status?
Single, and most likely to be for a long while.

My thrilling hobbies and time-wasters?
Making and painting miniatures in all scales, doodling (and then not showing people), playing tabletop games (boardgames, pen & paper, etc), reading old fiction, world-building and writing short stories (that get lost in heaps of paper scrap).

My current occupation?
Customer service.

What do I like about myself?
That I'm just about always happy and never bored, and if either tries to happen, I can beat it away. That others find me hard to read in person, because I prefer to be autonomous in most situations.

What do I dislike about myself?
That often I slip into the grounds of apathy, and have fixation issues (more like, "ooo, shiny!" syndrome). And that can blame for a lot of unfinished illustrations of mine. Also, the fact that my constant sunshine-yellow attitude is caused by a hedonistic lifestyle, that itself was a byproduct of the healing process from psychological trauma when I was younger. But fuck that, it's beautiful outside!

What have friends most often first glean from meeting me?
I've been told that I seem like the neat sort of dude to approach. That I look intelligent and chummy.

My religion?
I've been baptized, and piggy-backed into several other religions when I was little (because they would take me to lunch afterward (I'm a wretch)), but it all became so artificial, so I left it behind. But personally, I believe whatever's out there is going to be its own level of alien and unimaginably bizarre. So I'm not terribly interested in finding out, no. But after growing up in old-growth forest, I gotta say those druuds were on to something.

Any vices of mine?
I enjoy aged single malt scotch or navy rum, and drink it with all the class of a coffee cup with a bad pun written on it. As for drugs, well, I've tried a number, and overall I find sleep deprivation is a lot more fun (and free). I haven't tried smoking tobacco, and I never shall. Second hand smoke is already too much.

My greater fears?
Seeing another in-family suicide.

Who's my bestest buddy?
My fellow nord in crime, Evan, who none of you know (internet seal of approval).

The obligatory favorite comestibles question.
Caught somewhere between cous-cous dumped into mushroom soup with marinated porc chops on the side, or my grandmother's Ukrainian Christmas dinner. Drinks-wise, it's either fresh-squeezed lemonade/limeade/grapefruit juice or honey bush tisane with amarula. AND EGG NOG.

Followed by the favorite colours question.
Err... orange! muted purple! forest green!

What would my superhero power preferably be?
Shape shifting (in which proper mental functioning and memory remains)! Being somebody for a while, or something else entirely just seems so fun. Especially if it's a dinosaur, or an alien, or, or...

What could you probably not pay me to draw, if asked?
Coprafilia is probably the only subject. But I might anyway 'cause I'm a tosser like that.

Any disliked creatures?
NOPE! (Except maybe ex-roommates, ha...)

Any pet-peeves others might want to know?
Despite being a paragon of relaxation, I (and you) cannot fathom just how neurotic I get when people start playing with my Lego, or touch my miniatures, or anything I dared to draw upon with a pencil. It's an ingrained-since-childhood thing.

Ooo, oo! My favorite movies and games? (cause there isn't that as profile info here)
Okay, a deep breath, and: Akira, Alien, Aliens, Bed Knobs and Broomsticks, Bladerunner, Das Boot, District 9, Gedo Senki, Gojira, Mononoke Hime, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Outland, Solyaris, The Thing. These are my favorite things! And, video games: Alien Versus Predator Gold, Dino Crisis, Dragon Warrior, Exile (c64 version), Homeworld, Marathon 1 - ∞, Mass Effect, Metroid, System Shock 1 & 2, The Elderscrolls 2: Daggerfal, Wasteland, X-COM: UFO Defense. Caff, wheeze...

Anything else anyone wants to know?

Yes, it happened, for the enjoyment of some of you.

Imagine if it would allow me to write a description below this as well...

That would feel just a touch meta.

You are largely awesome. XD <333

I on the other hand feel like a greasy meat patty by comparison...broiled at Rally's, because only the most deliciously life-threatening beef and fish (wait, "fish"??? XD) comes from their kitchens. I'd eat FIVE of them a day, leaning more towards fish, if I wasn't a Type 1 diabetic ;_; (something of the recent three months. My blood sugar was 1,557. And I was merely tired, like...a boss??? o_o).

We sooo need to catch up over Skype... :D <3

      That we should, aye!

And don't get me wrong, greasy patties are a good love of mine, but not one I can accept to afford presently. Lately it's been a majority of rice and vegetables, and soups (and porc, which is cheaper than chicken...? o-0"). I discovered my love of cous-cous some point last year, and almost gave up on rice and quinoa and similar foods entirely. Rice stays just cause it's so darned affordable.

"world-building and writing short stories (that get lost in heaps of paper scrap)."

    OH I know

glances at various piles all over the floor. Feels the presence of those under the bed and inside drawers
    A few are inside books
Some are taped on the walls
The endless, endless... oh...the endless recesses of this hard drive and several other individual storage devices
    CDs and DVDs
    My mind
    Skype concersations
    Etc etc

    Ahhhh yes I love it

"But after growing up in old-growth forest, I gotta say those druuds were on to something."
Interesting. My woods grew on top of a reclaimed strip mine. Fairly young. Got yellow boy in some of the bodies of water.

"and drink it with all the class of a coffee cup with a bad pun written on it."

I also do not like people touching my things. Unless they have been determined to be okay to do that.

      Skaal!

Oh, is it ever amusing when people hear of my affinity for scotch, and how they react at finding out how I drink it.
