I could use a little help here.
When I've drawn other peoples characters and want to put their icon as a link to their page. How do I do that? Is it.
:iconusername: or :iconusernameicon: Which one of these do I type in?

If you want to do icons, then you can check out this link here ( https://www.weasyl.com/help/markdown ); though it's basically !+[]+(user:Weasyl username), but without the plus signs.

Okay, try it like this.
! + [] + (user: + redstorm + ) =
; just make sure to take out the plus signs and spaces.
In other words, type exclamation point "!", then square brackets [], followed by open parentheses "(", user, semicolon ":", your username (or anyone else's), then a closing parentheses ")".

Okay, you're much closer; now try the same thing again but without the quotation marks.

Oh and by the way, whenever you're typing out a comment, you can see a preview of that comment right below it (you may have to scroll down a bit, since the page only goes down enough to see the typing area and not the preview).
So if you're not sure about how it'll come out, just take a minute to look at the preview (you know, in case you didn't know about it already). =3
