Just an idea I've been playing with and I want to see if there is any interest!
I have some designs for some fursuits I would love to make! Just time and funding for supplies gets in the way of completing these projects.
I want to offer up some of these designs for people to adopt and fund then of course they would get a full fursuit tailored to fit them!
These would be offered up as full suits, and if one of these designs were wanted then the buyer would be 100% assured to get a project slot from me when I open for new work.
I am still working out the details and refining the designs but here is a quick preview of some of the ones that I might offer in the future!

If enough people think they may be interested int he offer in the future I will make a more detailed journal with clearer images of the designs and further details on pricing and how these commissions would be handled.
Thanks!!
I don't see any reason not to list these when you open for slots, like "I also have these designs I want to make, pick one for a guaranteed slot and you get the character for keeps along with a ref sheet" type wording. So folks can go with their design and try to catch your eye, or pick one of your pre-made ideas. Those pre-made ideas also give folks some idea of what you're currently interested in making, too. :)
My last fursuit commission went something like this too -- the suit builder tweeted about wanting to make a snow leopard, I wanted a snow leopard, so I paid for her to build him as an artistic-licence commission. I'm considering doing the same thing a second time. I also have a friend who did more or less the same - "make me a {colour} {species}, please".
So there is a market out there for "pick one of these character designs for a guaranteed slot" fursuits. Well... a market of at least one person ;)
That's how my Split Paw and Lumikelluke suits BOTH happened actually. Split Paw was literally "Brown hyena named Split Paw. Go." Lumi was "V2.0 of this older suit you did that I own now, go to town with fancy tricks like LEDs and other stuff ya' wanted to experiment with since you're always complaining about not getting to experiment with XYZ." =^.^=

They're really cool! I like the yellow spotty one best. It's a simple design (though I know those spots won't be simple to sew!) yet very recognizable and such a cheerful color!
